Stephanie + Ricky | Engagement

Yes Stephanie works at XpressionsbyMichelle but she is also a September Bride of mine. The day started wonderful like any other engagement session. The were absolutely adorable,  Ricky stated he was ready for anything so when we ventured downtown it was first friday. The music was playing and I had an idea of… lets practice your first dance. Ricky looked at me and said “Are you SERIOUS?” I said yes,  you said you were down for anything and I laughed. He was the best sport and danced, he actually had some great moves. The day continued to be awesome so we then headed to my favorite place in the river. A car in front of me had thrown a rock right into my windsheild, I have never heard anything that loud before. When we arrived to my favorite spot the river was up atleast 25ft passed it’s bank making it very dangerous not worth the risk so we traveled back to a fountain that I love. Overall.. window and all it was a great day and I am excited for their wedding!

Fathers Day Specials

We are having two Specials for Fathers Day..

Wedding Nightmare

I hope our friends do not mind me sharing their story with you but I strongly believe this is what every bride is afraid of experiencing. In the back of their mind they think of ALL, and I do mean ALL the things that could possibly go wrong on their wedding day. Half the times none of those scenarios actually even happen and the bride worked herself up over nothing…..but what happens when those horrifying scenarios do play out, and you are left on your wedding day having to run around picking up the mess of others, stressing out and on the brink of a mental break down!  And by “others” I’m referring to VENDORS! Here is the story….

Our good friends were married this passed weekend. They opted to have a very intimate destination wedding, the planning was a bit stressful but which isn’t? If there is anyone that deserved a glitch free wedding, it was these two. Now we unfortunately did not attend the wedding but early Saturday morning, hours before “I Do” we receive a message from Husband to be pleading that we may go and photograph their wedding as their local photographer was a NO SHOW!! Not only was he a no show, but he was 100% unreachable and did not return any of there calls that morning.  Poor groom, was in a frantic panic mode trying to resolve the issue without his wife to be getting even the slightest hint that something was wrong. Luckily the issue was resolved, the photographer was still a no show but the wedding proceeded without any further delays.  Had there not been a photographer available to step in, they would have been left without a single photograph to look back on at their wedding day.

Having a reliable and reputable photographer is a dire must at any wedding. When all the lights are turned down low and the last song is danced the only thing that will remain of that special day will be your memories and your priceless photographs. Don’t short sale yourself in photography; and do not settle, make certain that you have chosen the right photographer. It will be an investment of a lifetime that you will never regret!
